The Benoni Defense, 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 c5, can be a good choice for Black if he likes a crampled game for awhile.  Ben-Oni is Hebrew for child of my sorrow.  In this game, Black was sorry he played this opening, as White sacrificed on the kingside and was able to mate Black.  The game was played in Czechoslovkia by two Czech players and it demonstrates a nice mate.

Get execution by white with the combos. Beautiful play on the Kingside.

It looks to me like black tried to break up white's pawn chain with a k-side pawn storm, to weaken the center and give his q-side pieces some room (then why did he play that defense in the first place?). A risky move, and in this case it failed utterly.

    "Invisible.  You are right!  The normal Saemisch variation in the King's Indian Defense (KID) is 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7 4.e4 d6 5.f3 (5...O-O 6.Bg5 is the Steiner variation) and the  Benoni, KID is 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7 4.Be2 O-O 5.Bg5 c5.  Since Be2 wasn't played, this transposes more into a Saemisch KID".

How can you play 4.Be2 where the pawn on e2 never been move?

    I left out e4 d6.  So it should be 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7 4.e4 d6 5.Be2 O-O 6.Bg5 c5.

I think white did a great jib provoking black king pawns to advance, which exposed the king to the following attack.
