Alekhine and Reti are both top masters ... this was a very complex but brilliant demonstration!

It seemed to me: he opens cautiously, explodes with attack in the middlegame, and slows back down for a relentless, excruciating endgame. Fun to watch.

Reti should've allowed the draw.

this game was won because reti refused to draw. which all happened at a point when reti was becoming less interested in the game results and more captivated by theory some call this one of the most complex games ever played.
