Here's the checkmate for the Two Bishops (and King) against lone King):

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now comes the most tricky 'basic' checkmate of them all: Bishop and Knight against the King. A very high proportion of strong club players cannot perform this checkmate, so don't worry if you don't get it straightaway. Again, mate can only be delivered at the corners, and this time, the corner square has to be the same color as that under the Bishop's control:

    I think that not even 200 players on this site know how to mate properly with B+N, it's just too hard... especially in time trouble.
