Hard fought match

I would have to say that this was one of my most thought out games, and even after the early mistake i made, I was able to pull out the upset and win by resignation.  After the queen exchange, black offered a draw, but i could not accept it because of the pawn advantage.  Any input, advice, or comments on this game are welcome, especially since all advice and criticism works well for future games. We can learn a lot from other perspectives.  One thing that seemed to work best for me is to play higher rated players, because even if i lose (which happens a lot), I learn new tactics and strategies that I do not come across when I play lower or equal rated players.

I see your point, but i couldnt find a way to advance my king and get into better position without sacraficing some pawns...Besides I have won quite a few games cornering the king with just a rook, as long as I can finish off the rest of his pieces.  About your comment about blunders, get a game analyzed and see for yourself that mistakes are done when there was a better positional move and blunders are done when a player either leaves a key piece or an important spot unprotected.

Any move that doesn't solidify your position on the board is a blunder.

Around last 20 moves had a lot of unnecessary pawn losses...looked like a real pawn massacre to me. Sealed

first, black has made stupid moves in the middle of the game,

second, you could have played 16. Qxf7+, you would have got a free pawn, but anyway, your strategy was very good ( but not in the beginning )

MPresident, you want to evaluate on that comment, because I dont see any blunders..A couple of mistakes and some moves at the end that could of been played better, but I just cant see any real blunders.
