Ok first of all i just want to introduce me and how chess are!

I've been playing chess for eight years now and i am a very well rounded out player! I can be good at sometimes and just do plain horrible at other times! I have been to many tournaments, for example: 5 regional and 2 state!  So all together me and chess are combined together!

but what im asking out of this is any fellow chess players, could you give me some hints, tips, and strategies for me to get better! So openings and endings!

Thank you!

a good way to improve is learning many openings and trying them out, try and find the right one for you and use it in your games.......i do that and have found my opening for white and still in the process of finding a strong defense for black. another thing to do since were on this site is play some live chess or try the daily puzzle and tactics trainer because they help you learn more about positions and tactical strategies. and try focusing harder on your games.one way i learned to get better was the sacrifices people use, and why theyre good, like the greek gift.

Well, they say the best way to improve is to play a lot, and against stronger players if possible.  You lose many games but learn in the process by analyzing what you did wrong.  Of course, there are a ton of chess books out there full of good advice too.  Good luck.

but we aren't as learned (in chess ) as you are..

still.. practice blindfold.......that's what I do when I am in bed...
