Memorable Games

I recently played a fellow chess.com member and found the following game the most interesting yet.  There was a lot involved tactically, some blunders that went unseen and more importantly highly educational.

This game was from an organised tournament but my opponent was a very good chess player.  I learnt a lot about my own game having reviewed the match and am happy to share what I have learnt to other chess.com members.

He was a very good player and it was a pleasure to play with him.  I aimed to win but the opening was seen with many bad moves.  I hope to learn that no matter how one could improve their openings, much of winning comes down to learning, tactics and planning.  A win is possible even if you are down materially but have the vision to draw out minor pieces to improve the chance to win.

Good play, but the game was in his hands after 36.Kg6.  The beauty of Chess....a single move can change everything
