My win in 15 moves

Submitted by TomMac19 on Fri, 04/18/2008 at 2:35am.

Here is a game i played a while ago, i was impressed as not only did i win in 15 moves but i had also planned it and it was not luck. I must admit that some of my oppenents moves were to my advantage but here is the game (with my poor commentary). Let me also add that i know mistakes were made by both of us and the game could have been better, but look at our ratings...we are not the highest and i have only just started playing again after 9 years so i have alot to remember. hope you enjoy...also your comments are most welcome! (please also note that i made a mistake on the commentory on blacks move 14..so please ignore that one)

Well done, but your opponent was really weak, wasn´t he???

And so, guess this game should heve been posted in another section, like For Beginners, cause this is not an Amazing Game.

I believe that you could have won on your 11th move or at least get a much better position by playing :

9. Bh5+ instead of the Bg3 move which was clearly a waste of time.

then 9... Kd7 is the only defence

10. Qg4+ is devestating. your Black Bishop on F4 is safe and dangarous.

what can he do? Pawn to f5?

Probably e6, and then his position would have been realy bad - then you had the time to play Bg3 or even BXb8. black should be resining out shame at this point :)

very good. however, i do not understand your notes to black's 14th move. how can he move the rook to h7 when he has already moved the pawn to h6? are you saying that he can make two moves?
