Never out of the game

In this game, i made a couple of mistakes and a blunder.  Not only did I lose an extra piece (the white rook), but also was out of position.  Yet, due to a couple of lucky breaks and mistakes by my opponent, my end game was sound enough to get me the win through resignation...( Pawn would of been queen in a few moves, and game would eventually be over.)  What I am trying to get at, is in a match do not give up if you make a couple of mistakes, unless of course they are bad enough to be in a definite horrible position with the situation just about to get worse.  You never know though, your opponent might get too aggressive and make a mistake himself and cause a stalemate. ( Had that happen once or twice to me!)
