PLAY 1.e4!

There are a lots of interesting books with a simple title: 1. Play 1 e4!

There is no doubt that playing the Open Games 1 e4 is one of White's most aggressive ways of playing to win.. in fact there are lots of opening traps after 1.e4

My favorite book is Play 1.e4! according to Anand..it is a very good book..

Any suggestions?

Play e4..! It's the most aggressive and best opening move as it gives scope for Bishop & Queen..!

Oh! i didnt know Anand has a book about 1.e4. I must look it up and maybe purchase a copy. I have become an e4 player since last summer (playing chess on and off) and i have imrpoved so much. 1.e4 is the best way to go in my opinion although knowing 1.d4 well would be great too. That way, it makes preparation harder for your opponents!

i think its opening for anybody. Better is to learn more openings and play them as well.

e4 is the best move.It gives you center power.

If you play E4 there are many combinations which black can respond..with equally aggressive moves as the Sicilian and the less aggressive (but will turn out to be very tricky) French Defence.

you should VARY your openings!
