you actually mean move 34, if i play 34. Qf4+ Kh5, then g2 to g4 as you wanted, his king would flee to h4 !!, becasue my queen doens't guard that point anymore becasue of my pawn on g4 !!

Missed a mate in 2 on move 33 with q to f4, black king has to move to h5 then g2 to g4 giving mate. As The great Bobby Fischer used to say, forget the material, the object of the game is to mate.

    to Icy again:

first, thank you for your care,

yes , i had a forced mate, but i didn't notice it !! it seems i have been obsessed with the idea of capturing the queen to prove that my sacrifices have been in the right place..

but capturing that bishop on move 36 couldn't have been avoided !

    anyway, thanks again..

Yes, but taking the other bishop black could have avoided.

Now, I have to mention - you had a mate in 2 after Black took the sacrificed pawn. 34. Bf4+ Kh4 35. Qh7#. This was a blunder from you for missing that, although you still had a won game.

And after you took the queen you did not have a forced mate. There were blunders made by your opponent after which you could force mate.

But as this is your first time posting on chess.com, I have to commend you for winning the queen like that with so many sacrifices.

Icy001 said :"You know, Queen = Bishop + Rook + Pawn, but you sacrificed two bishops, a rook, and a pawn for that queen, so the net result is that you lost material!"

you are wrong of course, first , i have gained a queen and two pawns and directly another bishop "the light-squared one", so i have lost 9 points but gained 13, as well as i was taking his king to doom with those steps !

You know, Queen = Bishop + Rook + Pawn, but you sacrificed two bishops, a rook, and a pawn for that queen, so the net result is that you lost material!

Of course, you still won because you gained massive material from blunders made by your opponent.
