Thanks, Greenlaser, for suggesting 25. Bc4 Ne5 instead of my 25. Rxd7+ from the main line of my previous post.

This first game looks at 25... Ne5 to see if it is a viable option after the new continuation 25. Bc4

Now let's look at a couple other possible continuations to see if 25. Bc4 is better than my variation of 25. Rxd7 from a previous post.

I think it's safe to say that Greenlaser's suggested 25. Bc4 beats my line hands down.

In the line offered by xevs, after 21.Nf5 exf5 22.Qh6+ Bg7 23.Qd6+ Re7 24.Rxe7 Nd7, I prefer 25.Bc4 Ne5 26.Rxf7++ Kg8 27.Rxg7+ Kxg7 28.Qe7+ Kh8 (or Kh6) 29.Rh1#. If 28...Kg6 29.Rd6#. If 25...Kg8 26.Bxf7+ Kf8 (Kh8 or Kh6 27.Rh1+) 27.Re8++ Kxf7 28.Qe6#.

In the exf5 variation i think 36.Rd8 is mate in 2. If i'd have been playing i'm pretty sure i'd have taken the knight, not because i didnt think it was losing, but because i had absolutely no idea why it was losing.
