The art of Infiltration

Submitted by FM FM_Eric_Schiller on Sat, 01/31/2009 at 5:27pm.

Chess strategy is based on identifying weaknesses and attacking them. sometimes you need to infiltrate the enemy position with your pieces in order to get to the targets. This game is a great illustration of the art of infiltration.

Hi , thanks for the wonderful game and the annotations are terrific too,  while i understand the notes to move 14. Nxg6 but didn't white have to either take the Knight or the  bishop since his e pawn was hanging and his dark sqaured bishop was being attacked  ?

This is amazing closed games.. With tight pawns formation like that, Black also do the swing attack from both sides.. Brilliant!
