Two strategists face to face

Submitted by mcrotolo on Wed, 12/31/2008 at 10:32am.

As promised in the previous article, today I bring a very curious game.

Undoubtedly, two strategists face to face. And besides, two Argentines. Miguel Najdorf, although born in Poland, but developed his most important chess race in my country. Similarly, Ernesto "Che" Guevara reached its highest point in the Cuban Revolution but as everyone knows, was born in Rosario, Argentina.
The game was draw. Undoubtedly a "political decision"!
Enjoy it. But do not expect a great game.

up to 11. it's quite booky ( a kind of Smyslov ).  not bad as that.

for me,  13.c4?! bxc4?  ( maybe Najdorf offered a way out, not recognized by the Commandante).  and from here Black is heading down.

so draw is a political one, really.  (btw, who offered the draw ?)
