Web of Black Squares

The strategic masterpiece shows Schlechter at his best as he occupies some crucial dark squares, and utilizes them to achieve the final breakthrough.

Yell Ouch! I feel blacks pain. I do like the pacing bit, reminds me of cartoon characters jumping back and forth shouting "Whatta I do? Whatta I do?".

in my opinion, black is lost in the final position. play out my comments after the last move. black is tied down and will lose most of his remaining pawns. then white forces one in to queen.

It may have been a great game, or nice, or cool, or a closed game, or a fine example.

But why resign? I do not see the finish.  I did like Blacks pacing back and forth.

I just kept looking in wonder at the open first three ranks that white had room to manueuver in, protected by a wall of pawns. And poor black, with barely two ranks... A dream set-up (if you're white, that is).

its so funny to watch black pace back and forth the last few moves there. Black shouldn't of resigned and instead should of let white finish him off.

Brilliant, black spend about half the game just to waiting see how he was going to die...

Damn son that is one closed game.  Games that interlocked give me chills
