weird opening

Submitted by santiR on Mon, 05/12/2008 at 1:45pm.

this was an improvised opening i played as white against a player about my rating.  it looks like a kings indian, but i haven't seen it before.  does anyone know if it has a name, and if it doesn't, can i name it?

 thanks!

Having played f3, White should answer 4...e6 with 5.e4 dxe4 6.fxe4 with a Pawn center and a semi-open f file. White should also be prepared to sacrifice a Pawn to exploit these open lines, something like a Blackmar-Diemer gambit.

Yes, it is the Slav Defence (by transposition). However, the piece on f3 should be the other Knight--not the Bishop Pawn. This looks like a very weak position for White to be in. If I were playing Black, I'd want to take advantage of that open diagonal from h4 to the seat of power, e1.

Perdon, pero esta apertura me parece ridicula.
