Annotated Game 5 - D44: Semi-Slav Defense: Botvinnik Variation

Hi.

This game is taken from a recent tournament I played.

Time controls: 90min+30sec, after 40 moves 30min+30sec added.

Themes: Semi-Slav Botvinnik Variation, Exposed King, Mating Net, Knight Outpost, Deflection, Fork

His last queen move complicates my plan:

Oh, keep up guys! I'm sure one day you can do it.

    Glad you liked it!

It was a smaller tournament I played in Sweden that helps determine the class you end up in when playing the swedish championships in the summer. I almost made it up to class II but only almost (would have needed half a point) so I'm going to compete in class III (approx class C players) this year.

A really GREAT combination with deep calculations.

At this is the main reason why this is my favorite opening with both White and Black sides.

Thank you very much for some nice games. What tournament have you played by the way?
