The Central government doesn't have a strong stance on this issue, they are caught up between the Rajiv Gandhi assasination and Sri Lanka's alliance with China. They don't know whether to support Sri Lanka or the Tamils on this issue, and they should take a stance against the SL government on this issue. 

The UN also need to take strict action, their human rights comminssioner is Tamil (Navi Pillay). I can't believe she hasn't reacted to this issue yet. This is one those issues that goes internationally unrecognized.

They are more concerned about not spoiling relations with Sri Lanka. They don't care even if lakhs of Tamils are murdered, raped and even if completely wiped out from the island. They just want to maintain their good relations with Sri Lanka.

When Pakistan terrorists attacked Mumbai, the whole nation was against any kind of relations with Pakistan. All sports activities were stopped. All the IPL teams voluntarily didn't buy any Pakistan players when some political parties like Shiv Sena threatened them. And the media didn't raise a word. Around 150 - 200 people were killed in the terror attacks. Now hundreds of thousands of Tamils are being killed in Sri Lanka, and you don't care. 

And now, when Jayalalithaa does the same, she is doing it for pleasing the vote banks and gaining popularity among the Tamils. I agree, she is no saint, and this goes on in politics, but you need to look beyond politics.

So many students in all colleges accross TN are protesting. Do you think they have political motives? Public from all the sections of the society are hitting the streets calling for a referrendum by the UN in Eelam. It is similar to the protests after the Delhi gang rape case, where public participated in protests without any political gains.

When apartheid was prevelant in South Africa, the whole international community avoided any ties with them, including sports. They were banned from Cricket, Olympics and all sports for around 20 years. 

Now when there are more henious crimes in Sri Lanka like Genocide and complete wiping out of Tamils by a racist government, India doesn't care. They just don't want to spoil their foreign ties.

It is disheartening and annoying when your own country doesn't support you. I'm fed up with India. 

Look how insensitive and opportunistic everyone is - Public, Central Government and the media.

For the past two weeks students from almost every college in Tamil Nadu have gone on hunger strikes, some of them for an indefenite period, and have faced arrests by the police.

The north indian media and the public view the demands made by Tamil leaders as political gimmicks to please the vote banks, of course, parties do have their vested interests in mind, but you can't write off the entire thing as mere political games.

The entire 7 crore Tamilians are in support of passing a resolution in UN terming rajapakse's actiona as genocide and try him for war crime in the International Court of Justice, and to establish an independent Thamizh Eezham.

It's really a matter of shame that the Indian government isn't supporting us on this as it doesn't want to spoil relations with Sri Lanka and prefers to be a mute spectator and watch as our brothers are killed and women get raped everyday. When one girl gets brutally raped in Delhi, the entire media goes gaga and a huge public outcry occurs. This happens everyday in Sri Lanka, and when we raise concen about it, we do it because we are ethnically related to them, and it doesn't concern any of you.

I thank the US and the other countries who saw beyond ethincity / foreign relations, and looked at the issue from an humanitarian angle and supported the resolution against Sri Lanka in the UN. If any human watches this documentary and feels that this doesn't concern him in any way, he isn't a human, he is equal to Hitler. 

It's the US who stared a resolution about this in Geneva, and we're here pleading the Indian government to support it, whereas it should be the other way round. It's really very shameful, I feel ashamed to be an Indian when the corrupt and opportunistic government and the narrow minded public of the north refuses to support their countrymen in taking action against such an inhuman president. Did we tell you to fuck off when Pakistan terrorists attacked India as it doesn't concern us? We were together, but not anymore. 

Rajapakse is no better than Hitler, the racist dog wants to totally wipe out Tamils, but it isn't going to happen, we will defeat him.

Nobody is fighting. I'm simply sharing a documentary which explains the henious genocide and of lakhs of innocent, powerless civilian Tamilians in Sri Lanka; to raise awareness among the members here about the situation and plight of Tamil people over there.
