Bobby Fischer was born in Chicago in 1943. When he was 15, he became the US Champion of Chess. Age 18-GM. At age 28, Bobby earned the title of World Chess Champ by defeating former champion Boris Spassky. He lost the title when refusing to defend his crown against challenger Anatoly Karpov. He won the Fischer vs. Spassky match 2 and got 3.5 million $$$. Fischer was truly a gift from God. I hope you like him also! :-D
