testifies to how God gave His best for him, and how he was going to return the favor to Him. In like
manner, think upon it - are you a 100-fold Christian? Have you laid your life down at the feet of Jesus wholeheartedly - or are there still parts of your life that you withhold from the LORD?
Jesus spoke of good ground producing 30, 60 and 100 fold. It is interesting that we often relate this
to 30%, 60% and 100%. However, that is not what the scripture says - it says 30 FOLD, 60 FOLD
AND 100 FOLD. This has nothing to do with percentages, but rather with what the Lord helps us to
do. Some of us have a higher calling than others. Some of us are called to minister to the nations,
while some of us are called to minister to those around us.
Consider this - Jesus told the 12 disciples that they would travel everywhere with him, yet He sent the
healed demoniac in Mark 5:1-20 back to his hometown of Decapolis to testify there for the Lord.
ARE YOU GOING WHERE THE LORD HAS SENT YOU? If God is tugging on your heart, what is
holding you back?
When we think of 30% serving the Lord, this means that there is a 70% blockage in the Will
department. I am here to tell you that if you are giving only 30% to the LORD, you are having trouble
in the thorny ground department! Consider this - if your heart was only getting a 30% flow of blood,
how well would your body function? You would be on the verge of a heart attack (if you weren't
already there). At the very least, there would be no way that you could operate to the full potential
your body was able. The same can be said for 60% blood flow - your body would be more sluggish
than normal, as you would be down to almost half of your full potential.
To really accomplish what the LORD has in store for you, it takes giving the LORD 100% of your life!
This way, there is nothing that you are withholding from Him! CONSIDER - WHATEVER YOU
WITHHOLD FROM THE LORD WILL HOLD YOU BACK FROM BEING WHAT HE HAS CALLED
YOU TO BE! From there, the Lord will take your gifts and multiply them - "some thirty, and some
sixty, and some an hundred".
Today, I encourage you - think upon whatever it is that you cannot give up to the Lord. WHATEVER
YOU WITHHOLD FROM THE LORD WILL BE THE VERY THING THAT HOLDS YOU BACK FROM
BEING WHAT HE HAS CALLED YOU TO BE! I know I said it once already, but it needs to be
repeated. We cannot call ourselves "good-ground" Christians if we allow the cares and pleasures of
this world ("thorny ground") to choke out our love for the LORD. However, if you repent and decide to
give God your all, I promise you won't regret it. Not only will the Lord give you genuine peace, but you
will see real fruit grow in your life!
God Bless!
