When you want to do something in life, don't give up after the first sign of failure. We read a story when we were younger, "The Little Engine That Could". There was a lesson we were supposed to learn there - "...the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all." (Ecclesiastes 9:11)

If you want to do something in life, realize that you don't have forever to do it. God has blessed you with a life on this earth for a period of time to do something with it. His voice will guide you if you humble yourself and learn to listen. His hand will guide you if you stretch yours out to Him and decide to walk by faith. A walk with God cannot be based upon the way things look, but by His word. Trust God, and you will not fail! He will be there with you through the ups and the downs, and you will find peace in your soul.
