Advanced Rook Endings, Part 2

We started this series with the Vancura Position, defending against the rook's pawn from the side, instead of placing the rook behind the pawn.  Now let's look at when this can be accomplished which depends upon the placement of the king. Therefore, the prerequisite for this lesson is an understanding of the following:

    actually at about the 8 minute mark you have that Black doesn't go to a6 cause of Rb6+ but Black can take RXR+ but still it leaves our rook having to move away cause of that tactical hit afterwards ...Ra6 2.Kc3 and then the white king has the jump on ours cause black has to  move the rook away cause of Rb6 next move .So two reasons not to go ...Ra6.
