Building a Bridge, The Lucena

Biulding a bridge, what was Aron Nimzowitsch talking about? The Lucena position, one of the most important maneuvers to learn. It's named after Luis Ramirez de Lucena; however, the earilist book found to have this maneuver was by Alessandro Salvio dated 1634.

Many learn but few make the connection to the idea of building a bridge.  Keep it simple, a bridge is used to cross over, not to cover.  Also learn how to build the bridge from the side.

Together we build and over the board we even the score!

This is VERY cool -- the "Wargames" synth-voice is fun to hear.
