I have all of Meliks videos on this particular opening.  He covers it so well you feel like you could take on anyone!  Especially if he plays it against masters.  It is a great opening to give a quick study too for sure.  Interesting ideas how to maintain equality even against whites best play.  Also something interesting, I watched those videos, then my friend, playing OTB, does the f5 pawn push against the Italian game instead of the Ruy.  It was nothing he studied, he just thought it seemed interesting.  I turned him on to the Shliemann gambit since it was close to what he had 'come up with'.  He turned around and beat a strong player the very next day using it.  Did you know Melik is not the only GM to play this opening against other masters?  Radjabov also plays it.  Possibly some others.  Sounds pretty sound for a gambit to me!
