The Elephant Gun and the Clock

In this game as White, my opponent plays the risky Elephant Gambit. This line is often called dubious but facing it OTB is a daunting task, especially to us mortal chessplayers. I was surprised to find out that Russian GM Pavel Skatchkov and English GM Mark Hebden have used it.

I am 1st to deviate from theory with 7.Be3.My opponent fails to find the most accurate moves and I develop a nice initiative. Black fights back and the game develops into a positional struggle with errors on both sides. I lose a pawn and Black starts to gain the advantage but gets into serious time trouble, causing him to lose the game.

Please feel free to comment and thank you to my opponent for a nice game.
