Viswanathan Anand vs Magnus Carlsen Linares-Moralia 2007

Did you ever capture a piece for an even exchange only to realize that you set yourself up with a lost position. Here's an example of why it's important to visualize the position before you make your move. Young GM Magnus Carlsen actually took with equality only to realize that he allowed a pawn to become passed and it ended his game several moves later. The theory here is tension. Many times the person that opts to relieve the tension pays dearly for it.

I think before Magnus pushes his e pawn, he has to solve two important points :

    1) the g column and 2) the setting of the white Rook on the third rank.

Anand has prepared this in his plan!!!

e7 was the best move for white, it gives a threat for a checkmate. If black doesn't remove his bishop on e8, checkmate in two.  Bg8+ {black king was checked no other move but on h8} then chekmate at Qxh6#.

Maybe the 2nd move in this board for black is a mistake, its better if he move 2... Bc6. But white has the position for a win.
