thanks for the gentle reminder. but there are no restrictions on usernames, and I like to declare my faith. :)
netzach
Well of that I was only gently reminding.
The site is for chess & is international.
Tolerance & respect for all faiths should be applied.
Your username & motif is unfortunately slighly anatgonistic, so whilst I respect your beliefs reiterate that the site is for chess not religion.
I dont hold any religous debate. The only time I talk about things like that is when other people are talking to me about it. One forum had that for like 10 pages and then I entered and the forom was locked a few comments later. Odd. But I dont openly debate in the forums. In fact, lots of people make comments about my username i mostly choose to ignore, which after a while gets tiring because i came to this site for chess, not debate
Yes & specific religous groups also, but I spoke of the PUBLIC areas of the site & this includes the forums.
http://www.chess.com/forum/view/off-topic/forum-posting-rules---be-nice--no-religious-or-political-debate
actually no, just as there is freedom for religion/politics in teams, blogs are allowed it
Well the reason I posted here (& do not mean to be harsh) is this is a website for CHESS.
Whilst acceptable to quietly acknowledge your christianity it is bad-idea (& against site-policy also) to introduce matters of religion or politics into the public-areas of the site ?
just because its controversial doesnt mean it shouldnt be said
But what you write ( & also your id on this site ) is controversial. Perhaps you should edit your words occasionally.
decisions can change. Dont just look at every tiny detail you can find and call my a hypacrite
