Ah yes - the (obvious) tactic that I missed :P
I think moving the rook on c6 was forced because white is threathening to play Rxd4+
Was 44...Rf3!? any good - threat of 45...Rf7+ and 46...Rh6
I like this game a lot. I'm playing in a tournament where the set opening is Scotch Game - Blumenfeld variation.
