This group is for players who want to take advantage of the chess wisdom and teaching of Dan Heisman to improve their chess. Dan has won numerous awards for his books and columns on chess, including "Chess Journalist of the Year" in 2010.  One of Dan's cornerstone teachings is the importance of playing regular, serious games at S L O W time controls.  That's where we come in!

We also sponsor contests and tournaments with prizes that include copies of Dan's books and great gear from our own DHLC shop!
