In any case, if you were worried about Qh4+, you could have just played 12.Bg3, which is the mainline. The move works because he's already castled.

10.Ne5 is actually a fine move, as would have been 13.f4: 13.Qh4+ is nothing to worry about, 14.g3 Qh3 15.Qe2 and you can castle Q-Side and launch your K-Side attack. His Queen is probably misplaced on h3.
