King`s Gambit Experiments

     For the last 2 months I ve been trying out all the various King`s Gambit lines in OTB games and found those very useful. However, in online games these lines were not  that powerful, simply because the element of surprise was not that great.

    In the first game I ve optioned for Alaguer`s gambit line in King`s Gambit and was able to take advantage since my opponent tried to hold on the pawn advantage. In the second game, I optioned for Muzio gambit line, which is even more aggressive. In both examples, black accepts the gambit and then tries to defend the pawn with g5 move after 1.e4 e5 2.f4 exf4 3.Nf3 g5....

   I recomend these lines for blitz/bullet games or even standard live games, or OTB, as so many players are knowledgeable in Ruy Lopez variations, or even Petroff Defence...while King`s Gambit remains somewhat less utilised.

    i nearly never played king's gambit with white,because it is really risky :)

       Thank You for the challenge my Friend, I am sure we will have many great games against each other in the future. These two games I posted are fun to watch and actually great lines to learn how to play blitz games. When the opponent has 3 days per move it`s much safer to play something less adventureous Smile
