A few months ago, I bought Tim Harding's The Fighting Fajarowicz and have begun playing the gambit in tournaments. Here is my best game, to date.

agreed! this was a tremendous victory and a beautiful game.
jim, what was the crux move in this game where your opponent failed to provide the best response?

Hi Jim. Thanks for posting the game - I found it very interesting. Nice win! I have been casting around for a reliable defence to 1.d4 for some time. I would be interested to know how your other games with the Fajarowicz have gone. Have you got good positions from the opening by playing it?
Do you feel that it's value is dependent on an element of surprise against an unprepared opponent? Is it a defense someone could reliably play in their club games against the same opponents, week in week out?
