Jim West Talks Chess: Fajarowicz Feedback

"SonofPearl" and "erik" commented on yesterday's game Kernighan-West which featured the Fajarowicz variation.  Maybe declining the Budapest Gambit with 3.d5, as in Hutama-West, is the safest way for White to avoid complications, although Black gets a good game.

I'm guessing that declining the gambit is relatively unusual.

I tried out the Fajarowicz (I'm going to have to remember how to spell that without checking every time!) today against my Hiarcs for Palm. I cheated a little by following it's opening suggestions until it was out of book. I'm pleased to say I won. :)

    I'll post this game soon.
