3|2 Blitz Series: Game 1/16

Before I start with the blitz, I would like to say I support Garry Kasparov at his fight in Russia.

However, let's take a look at the following blitz game, which was played long time ago, when me and my friend started the series of 16 blitz games. All the games took place in our school's library, during the biggest break, approximately 10:30am.

If it is bothering you what SUU stands for...it signifies a Super Ultra Unrated game. Laughing

At this game we saw quite a lot of sacrifices. It's very interesting that most of them were true sacs. Why is it great? Imagine that when you are playing a game, some schoolmates come to the board and see the clock is very low. And then they start to count down: "Five, four, three, two, one, the end!" Laughing

those sac's aren't so cool as you think, black can easily run away and smooth counter you

Don't know. The fact is that everything except Bxd5 leave the e3-square unprotected.

    Is'nt 15.cxb6 slightly better than 15.Bd3?

Other than that, nice game!!! Wink

you would have one if there was more time and by just keeping the king in check until you get rid of that rook with your queen still keeping him in check then really his options on where to move will slowly die out into checkmate.
