Well, I've given up on reading. In all those books, I start to follow along and try to understand what the book is trying to tell me but once it starts to get into something like "22. Nf6 would lead to 22... Bh2 followed by..." I just get lost. It just seems like I can learn a lot more from actually playing in less time than if I were to read all those books.
What can I say, I have a short attention span. Some chess books out there look really insteresting and I hope to read them all some day, but for now I'm young and I learn by doing. So play I shall. At any given point I have at least 20 games going on at once. You might say I'm learning things the hard way, but I'd rather learn something the hard way and have it engraved into my memory than to learn it the easy way and forget it as soon as I stop using it.
