Eternal_Patzer and MarioChessNiraj: The Blitz Battle #1

I have decided to make a new series of games called "The Blitz Battles" that I play with a very nice person and friend, Eternal_Patzer. You may know him as the founder of the Dan Heisman Learning Center, a great place to learn new things and talk with Dan Heisman himself! Anyway, on to the point. EP and I were trying to schedule a good time to play blitz games because I saw that he played blitz a little. So, I decided that we should play. We played 2 games. This is the first game:

The second game was a bit different. The similarity between the first game and the second one was that there was a pin in both of them, but the one thing that was different about the pins were that one of them was defendable, and the other one was not. This is the second game:

Well, these are the two games that EP and I played. I hope that he enjoyed the games that we played and I hope that he had a good time. Hopefully, EP and I will schedule another pair of games sometime soon. I will post them on my blog when we do. Until then, enjoy! Smile

In game 1 I might have been able to make a fight out of it if I had played 23 ...f4!  instead of ...d4??  The "quiet" pawn moves are the hardest to see for me.  I desperately needed to open a lane for my Queen to rush to the defense.  Cool
