This was our final match of the year. We manages to scrape out a win 2.5-1.5, with our first board plyer sick. A very satisfying day for the whole club.
Yeah, Bxa3 was just winning pretty easily
I wonder if 18...Bxa3 wasn't a better move. Thats what leaped out to me...
yes i was planning on it. The reason is that my knight is already good, but my rooks and king are not. This move moves my king towards the center and gets my rooks closer to connecting. No reason to castle since the queens are off the board
12. -- , K x d7 surprized me a bit. Were you planning on attacking so aggressively with your king at that point already. It seems the natural move would have been N x d7 and then to castle later.
