The move 23... b6 is of interest; the bishop can go to d4 later; it might also go to e5 in some positions. That is the main alternative I would like to see tested in a practical OTB or blitz game. As we discussed in the video, don't give white the a-file (with the game move 23... b5) and solidify the b6-c5 pawn chain. Accept that the d6 pawn is lost and play around it.

23...Bd4 24.Ncxd6 b6 or 23... b6?
I'd like people to test out the suggested improvement of 23...b6 instead of game 23...b5
On 31.. Bxe3?? 32. Nf3+ it leads to checkmate rather than simply winning a queen for a knight ;).

At move 27, besides the 27...g5 suggested in the annotations, Black can also play 27..c4 or 27..b4 and get the queenside Pawns moving. I don't think there's any advantage here, but there are chances.
White's "Pawn structure" consists almost entirely of latent and present targets. h6 will fall for sure and b2 isn't so healthy.

Outstanding. This is of great interest to me because I sometimes have this with reversed colors via a Reti: 1.Nf3 d5 2.c4 d4!?

Why I Blog!
The chief motivation for this site is to present interesting games that for the most part are not yet part of electronic databases. In addition, there is entertaining (semi-recent) history and the blog format is ideal so readers can chip in and flesh out the memories. The best thing about semi-recent history is that most of the characters are still alive!
The site is divided, generally speaking, into decades starting from the 1970s and going into the 2000s. To kick it off, I simply started annotating “undiscovered” games in June 2007 along with whatever memories I could muster.
