possible to cheat in live tournaments

Just a thought, while playing in a live tournament you are able to bring up a private chat window.  So, if you know someone playing or it is in your interest that someone wins, you could help them out.  I could be wrong, but like I say, "Just a thought".

Maybe this feature should be disabled by c.c while you are in a group.

    yeah i know it "would" be cheating!    that's what I'm trying to highlight with this forum.     i used to play WOW and the extents at which ppl would go to to cheat ....wow indeed.     im just highlighting that there's probably a few sad little people out there getting lots of 1st place trophies, with a little assisstance.

    so my suggestion is disabling any type of pm while in tournaments.

    excuse the spelling.......

    maybe gersfan:   taking a lot of pride in a victory achieved by that method ?

     

    actually, cheating will be eventually 'found out' and the churlish removed.

    for instance,  if im playing against folk at my level, you could be watching the game and telling me what moves to make, thus me probably winning because someone much better is telling me what to play.

    and by being in a group of ppl playing, you may benefit from a certain person getting the point, just like in football.....so potentially you could open up a chat window and lend a hand.

    does that make any more sense?   lol  

    Then in the case you would be Cheating as no outside assistance of any kind  is allowed in live
