USCF tournament - Evanston Tri-Level

My first ever USCF tournament. I was unrated, all though I am probably around 1500s, so I've played opponents under 1000s. Time controls are 40 minutes with 5 second delay.

The last game was probably the highest rated player I went against today. The rest were under 1000.
A nice game, all though it was a bit confusing to play.
That was my last game. We both went into the last round 3-0-0 (3 wins, 0 loss, 0 draws), but I was very disapointed on how terrible my opponent had played.

Good games.  How did you find your rating?  I looked on the USCF site and there is a  *  next to my name.

Quick update: my temporary rating went from 'unrated' to '1426' so I guess that's a pretty about right. :D

even though they are low rated, it would be easy to underestimate your opponent and blunder.

Good ganes Hiro, your 2nd and third were interesting but the rest were against very weak opponents. I should have told you and Jon to ask the tournament director if you guys could play in the U1600 section with me. Next time.
