Writing Chess Document with LaTeX
How to create a chess document with LaTeX?
In this post I convey general introduction about the basic things required in its writing.
First, the package for chess. For this we can choose one of some LaTeX package for chess available on Comprehensive TeX Archive Network (CTAN) site, as:
o skak
o xskak
o skaknew
o chessfss
o texmate
Each package, of course, has its pros and cons. You can try to use each ones.
Second, the package documentation. Learn patiently the package instructions in order to facilitate the writing. Each package includes the documents.
Third, LaTeX document structure. Consider all things that support the chess document output, such as headers, environment, coloring, etc.
The following chess documents I wrote and had published in Chess Reference.
