OK, so over the weekend I played in this action chess tournament(My friend was in it too,
read this: http://blog.chess.com/hessmaster/arlington-chess-action) and I did pretty well. I even faced my friends little brother too :)
Anyways, hope you enjoy the games and the blog.
ROUND 1:
In this game I played one of the Lohr Brothers. They're really good at chess, there's 4 of them, there ages all range from 8 to 13, and they all have a rating range from 900 to 2100. (They have an 11 year old who's rating is 2005!!!) The game is here:
(BTW, The time control was 45 minutes with 5 second delay.)
ROUND 2:
After that loss, I really wanted to come back with a win. I was paired white against a 1550, the game went REALLY long, then we both had a time scramble and we both had about 3 minutes left, but 5 second delay saved our butts. See what happend in the game here:
(BTW, My opponent has a chess.com account and his username is Triphoria.)
ROUND 3:
Ok, so now I have to win!!!!!!! Here is the game:
(BTW, my opponent has a chess.com username, and his username here is doduobird123. His older brother's username, one of my very good friends, is hessmaster.)
