How to Master Chess Openings

Hello chess friends! In my first blog post for Chess.com this week, I would like to present you with an interesting video I recorded for GeeksWithChess.com about a year ago. In this instructive lecture, I teach the most optimal way for players of all levels to master a chess opening in general and give some easy-to-follow method for successfully learning an opening. I hope you like this video and learn more about the ancient game through it!

That was great, TigerL...! Could you list the specific openings you think one should learn. You say that one should learn the open games, starting with 1. e4 e5, but could you be more specific? Maybe give examples of 2-3 good gambits. Thanks!
