a.) to stop the game, ie give victory to the opponent.
b.) to continue the game, but a friendly match in this case we are not talking.

From 8 to 18 I was in the chess school and played for 3 hours of chess every day :-) When so given game, then look at it to be very specific. "Every apple - a place to fall .." - words in Russian song. If anyone wants to get a win against me, accusing me of dishonesty - he will get it. PS The question of fair play - a very complex, and I think a lot about it. Today, my opinion is it, but tomorrow it could change :-)

Victor, if you gift the game to every player who accuses you of cheating it won't be long before your ratings are the same as mine!
Most people that make wild accusations of cheating are just playing mind games. It's a lame attempt to disrupt your game & give them a better chance to win.
Chess.com are very competent at dealing with genuine cheats. They will systematically analyse the games in question and determine whether the player is playing way beyond the strength of their current rating.
Don't let these idiots ruin your game. Play to win.
I think that we must be able to easily transfer defeat - as fair and unfair. The main thing - is the realization of original ideas, and the defeats should not interfere with this.

what happerned with me was that, My opponent accussed me of cheating(when I won!). But when people win(including my opponent which accussed me of cheating), they dnt accusse the opponent for cheating. I beat him fair and square and why would I want to win with dessepetion, I beat him with me,dignity, pride. I play in chess.com knowing that my online opponent can cheat and if so I know that I will have to beat him and his computer because I know I can beat any computer!...anyway I asked him for a chess960 match(knowing that u cannot cheat in a chess960 match), I want to earn respect and beat again but he doe'snt want to play me in a chess960 match(maybe his cheating)...so pls tell me ur suggestions guys?
I gave him the game (timeout), in which he acted un-gentlemanly(imho). Is it possible to organize a group whose members give the victory to opponent in response to the lack of culture?
I think this is a great happiness for man - to turn around and leave if he does not like something. Often I come across things that I dislike, but I'm chained to them by some simple circuits that can not break :-)
PS I still think: my opponent is reading this dialogue? If he reades - let joins the debate

Hahaha! You do have a point there. Also, I think you might be looking at it like this: Your opponent dishonors you and the game with his false accusation, and as a matter of honor and pride, you simply disengage from the interaction (the game), with no care for points or who wins and loses. That is very Russian, I believe. :) The more I think about it, the more I understand your point of view. Hmmm...
>And I say, why reward that person by intentionally losing your game?
As this not a game for money, I do not want to waste my time on such opponent :-)

There is a story. One professional boxer was beaten in the street. His friend asked: "How could you allow yourself to beat?" At this a boxer quite seriously replied: "Why do I have to beat them for free? Let me pay - then I will beat them"

@Victor: That list is comprised of members whose accounts have been closed due to proven cheating, but as I understand it, the Chess.com staff conducts extremely thorough investigations with advanced methods, and they do not close accounts and put someone on a list just because someone says another member is cheating, which I have heard happens quite frequently on this site. If a person is not cheating, I am absolutely certain they have nothing to worry about, and they would not be put in a position to have to defend themself.
Here is the link to Chess.com's Frequently Asked Questions regarding cheating: http://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/chesscom-policy-on-cheating?page=1
In it, Erik says:
"What should I do if my opponent accuses me of cheating? If your opponent accuses you then you can just disable chat and continue your game with a clear conscience (assuming you are not cheating!). Don't worry about accusations, just play your game. If you want you can add them to your blocked player list so they cannot contact you again."
And I say, why reward that person by intentionally losing your game? It could be his psychological warfare - getting you upset. I often think I should disable chat except for a hello at the beginning and a "good game" at the end.
But it's your choice. I certainly can also understand your wanting to leave the game.
Thank you for the advice, but I choose option a.) Questions of a friendly atmosphere and mutual trust in the game for me are the most important in the chess.com
Next I will describe these concerns in more detail.
How do I determine whether I'm playing with very strong player or with a chess program?
Yesterday I read in chat such comments of opponent about my game:
"What's the point of cheating with a computer? I'm reporting you for cheating. Your name will show up here very quickly. http://www.chess.com/cheating.html how convenient. Now you deliberately make a bad move. "
Clicking on the link, I found a huge number of players suspected of cheating.Indeed, I am - a good chess player. But a bad lawyer. I have not found the arguments to prove 100% my fair game. I would hate to see my name one day in lists cheating.html
Then I came up with this version, which later I'm going to offer to support:
I lose (from timeout) any game in which the opponent will express suspicion of my foul play. A more acceptable guarantee fair play, I can not think of. Instead, I will not be included in the list of cheating.html (except, of course, some special cases)
MrMars
Just explain why his position was bad. if he doesn't listen who cares?
Naturally we will assume there is no cheating involved and that you are probably winning. I believe you should block the chat and continue the game undisturbed.
