Cheater-1 Is Toast

Cheater-1 commited an error and the question is why. Is Cheater-1 involved in the site's development? Is he/she a real persona that actually has been haunting chess sites? Is he/she a recent persona?

If you look at the game you see that Cheater-1 has taken a pawn with his bishop and followed it up with hxg. This pawn capture was his last chance at a draw. I'm certain his computer would have indicated that hxg was not good but he did it anyway. I'd actually like to know if other peoples programs spot this from Bxh3.

It was enjoyable,of course. And the exchange of ideas was really interesting. But if he plays another game against the community,I believe it will be better not to have everybody participate in it and not allow him to watch the discussion by using his other accounts.

Thanks. That was a taxing battle. I would not have played it different. I knew we had to observe the Contempt for Draw setting on his programs to keep the game alive so to be able to generate chances. Trick after trick the machine spotted them. So it was this final gasp that got us through with the win. I'm immensly pleased.

I hope everyone else found this enjoyable if not instructional.

    Webgogs:

    To answer your first question:

NO. Cheater_1 has nothing to do with this site. At first I thought he was interesting, so I allowed him to play this vote chess game. But now we see how pathetic he is.

As for why he took the pawn? If you let the computer run for a short time it will give that as a valid response. Plus, he probably figured that with so many pawns, how could he lose?

I'll admit - I followed you in the game despite many times when Rybka disagreed. I'm glad I trusted you :)
