Next Chess Blog Carnival

There's so much great work being produced by Chess.com bloggers, that I'd like to mention the next edition of the Chess Blog Carnival, in the hope that some Chess.com writers will want to promote their work to a wider readership. The chess blogosphere isn't very big and no chess blog is too small (or too large or too important) for inclusion in this roundup of chess blog posts.

Look over your recent blog posts, pick one that you are especially proud of, and submit it to the blog carnival. By doing so, you will promote not only your blog, but also your favorite online chess site (Chess.com, of course!) and the great game of chess.

The carnival submission page is here: Blog Carnival - Chess Carnival. Don't wait!

Thanks for the tip about the chess blog carnival.  The first entries were published today, including several from chess.com bloggers ... not to mention your own, of course.

OK, thanks Mark.  I dropped in a post.

I've used similar html/javascript widgets on my own web page but thought there should have been a way to include one here.  This site is so personal that sometimes it's easy to forget it's somebody's business;  what you say about chess.com preventing the display makes good sense.

Dozy - The widget is only to display the carnival announcement on your own blog post or web page. I suppose Chess.com stops it from displaying because it uses Javascript. To submit a post to the carnival, click 'Submit an article' after navigating to the link I gave. - Mark

Looks good, Mark.  Thanks for the tip.

However, I tried to copy the HTML code for their widget to my blog and can't get it to come up.  (It copies in ok but simply shows the code instead of showing it as a web page.

Anybody know how to insert it, please?
