Chess has a metaphorical quality that exposes general truths in life; this quality has been appreciated by artists and other intellectuals for centuries.  There is a long history of chess being used to illustrate and shape abstract ideas.  Join me on this journey of becoming a better chess player and maybe our paths and ideas will cross in ways that will help both of us to improve.
