400th Victory!

Greetings,

I have now earned my 400th USCF-rated victory.  You can see the game in this week's newsletter.

Also, if anyone has an old digital clock they don't use anymore, Imre Barlay is in the market for a new clock.  Feel free to reply to this email or contact Imre if you have one.

Peace be with you,

Paul Anderson

This week's game comes from the Colorado Springs Chess Club's "Player's Choice" night in July.  Typically, the 1st Tuesday of the month is Speed Chess (G5).  The 2nd Tuesday is USCF-rated Quads (G30).  The 3rd Tuesday is Quick-rated Swiss (G20).  The 4th Tuesday is "Something Different," like simuls, thematic events, bughouse, lectures, etc.  When a month ends with a 5th Tuesday, the club lets the attendees decided what kind of chess they would like to play.
