My Chess History

My brother was 10 and I was 5 when he taught me chess. Then I taught the kid across the street and would beat him just like my brother beat me. In my 20's I played a lot and got pretty good. I think I got up to about 1900. Then, I didn't play for a long time. (I was at the bar!) Now, I've started again. I played on Yahoo a lot the past year but lost a lot of games on time. I don't have home internet yet and have to use public computers. I was so glad when I found this site. Now, I can play for an hour, then postpone till the next day. I'm winning more and I like it. I'm still not as good as I use to be. I don't have the patience or inclination to analyze moves for more than 3 or 4 minutes. I just give it my best shot.

Challenge me, all you cornpone jiveass peckerwoods.
