From hopelessness to hope

My opponent had a strong start thanks to my bungling, but things turned around, probably much to the surprise of both players (certainly to white!). Black was rather unsportsmanlike about the final outcome.

    On further reflection, 49. Re5+ would have been much better.

    Brilliant!  The Queen may be the most powerful piece on the chess board, but without the support of her friends, she is vulnerable.  Thanks for demonstrating this evanvwk.
