Progress (slowly but surely)

Yesterday I took home 2nd place in the Sterling Chess June Open in the U900 section. This was my first medal in an OTB tourney, and also the first OTB tourney in which I lost no games (I had 2 wins and 2 draws). Okay, I'm not a NM yet (nor am I likely ever to be), but it's gratifying to see that I'm making some progress from the dude I was four years ago who knew not the first thing about chess.
